Since 2019, NET(net) and WMP have been working together under a formalized delivery partnership that allows WMP to sub NET(net) in a limited capacity during due diligence.

WMP and NET(net) have a formalized prime/sub agreement with defined and preferred commercial terms. This prime/sub arrangement is designed to allow WMP to ‘embed’ a NET(net) effort as a subcontractor relationship within your due diligence engagements to include Price Benchmark Reports. The prime/sub option can be customized based on specific circumstances or situations.

 Why does WMP use NET(net)?

  1. Both WMP and NET(net) have significant Private Equity relationships and practices. Over 50% of NET(net)’s project are for the top-tier PE Funds including Blackstone, Apollo, THL, Bain and KKR. So we both understand this unique client.
  2. NET(net) is an expert in IT “Optimization and Negotiation” with a core competency in deal negotiation. As you can appreciate, our ability to get better pricing than a carve-out or client can get alone is a key value to the PE owners.
  3. We can “fill the gap” in knowledge on suppliers and complex supplier contracts. For example, on several recent WMP due diligence projects NET(net) has assessed and set target price supplier costs that WMP can then provide to the end-client with confidence.

Overall, WMP can leverage NET(net)’s knowledge in a merger, due diligence or other related WMP engagement where suppliers like Oracle, SAP, Microsoft or VMware (and hundreds more) present high risk and complex change.

The NET(net) team is looking forward to continued mutual success.
